Trees of the Season at the Guadalupe Dunes Center

Now through December 16, don’t miss “Trees of the Season” at the Dunes Center in Guadalupe (nine miles west of the City of Santa Maria). Here, visitors may peruse a variety of beautiful trees and wreaths that have been imaginatively decorated with everything from toys and ornaments to gift cards for wine tasting, dining and shopping. The idea is to buy a raffle ticket and win one of these whimsical creations. All proceeds support the Dunes Center and its educational nature walks, school programs, interactive exhibits and artifact maintenance. Raffle tickets may be purchased online, too. The last day to purchase tickets is December 16 at the Dunes Center Holiday Gala, when the drawings will take place and guests will enjoy beverages and hors d’oeuvres.
