An open space area in Santa Maria Valley, offering environmental education, land preservation and recreation. The land offers hiking, equestrian and biking trails with guided tours and events offered year-round. Visitors may have the opportunity to see wildlife in this open space. Visit the Barn and you will see Burros, a mini horse, and goats. Equestrians, birders, mountain bikers and hikers enjoy the stunning trails and vistas, including guided hike opportunities. This area park offers 15 miles of trails available for sighting birds typical of coast live oak and oak savanna habitat. Spring land birds move through the oaks and narrow canyon riparian areas during migration and include flycatchers, kingbirds, grosbeaks and warblers.
