Dewlson Family Farm
Dewlson Family Farm was designed to be an “Oasis of Experience” where people come to explore, learn, and relax. We are proud of our safe, sustainable farm practices that protect the health and well-being of our family, farm associates and valued guests. This makes it possible for you to walk our farm, eat our fruits, and enjoy our coffee and tea with confidence in your safety.
At Dewlson Family Farm, the primary commercial crop is Lisbon Lemon Trees. They have approximately 6,000 trees spread over 40 acres. The Lisbon is an old lemon variety believed to have originated in Portugal. It has a distinctive long nipple on the end. The tree has rich-green glossy leaves and fragrant white flowers that produce ripe lemons in roughly nine months.
On the farm, they also grow coffee, tea, and interesting exotic fruit varieties:
- Coffee: Five Arabica varieties with both red and yellow cherries
- Tea: Three varieties from renowned regions of China
- Exotica: Trees, plants and shrubs from around the world, that include: Caviar Limes, Buddha Hands, Ice Cream Banana, Ghost Apple, Shiro Yellow Plum, Passion Fruit, Dragon Fruit, Strawberry and Pineapple Guava, Goji Berries, Goumi Bush, Miracle Fruit.
