The Santa Maria Valley unfolds along the northern perimeter of Santa Barbara County on California’s Central Coast. Our rare east-west orientation channels cool ocean air directly into our valley. The result is one of California’s longest growing seasons, making for what experts have called “the world’s most dynamic wine-growing region.” This crucial extra time on the vine, coupled with our complex soil conditions, means our grape are more flavorful and balanced. Ultimately, this results in complex Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs, and Syrahs—our valley’s flagship varietals.
