Wild Flour Celebration

WILD FLOUR CELEBRATION

New

Each spring we welcome the beautiful bloom of wildflowers and native flora that brings the Cuyama Valley to life. Join us for our fifth annual Wild Flour Celebration — where we bring together our two favorite things, flower and flour, for a weekend of good food, slowing down, and celebrating the Hidden Valley of Enchantment.

Each package includes the hotel’s nightly rate for a 2-night stay (Friday and Saturday), welcome cocktail, live music, and Saturday workshop & dinner.

Weekend Itinerary

FRIDAY, MAY 2ND

Welcome Cocktail

Receive a flower-inspired drink upon check-in at 3pm.

Pizza pop-up dinner*

Here! Here! will be slinging wood-fired pizzas starting at 6pm.

Live music in The Garden

Enjoy bluegrass tunes performed by Cracked Creek from 6-9pm.

SATURDAY, MAY 3RD

Morning Beginner Rock Hike*

This 2-hour, 1.2 mile excursion is great for all levels, but especially beginners! Explore the foothill flats with Sam and the goats of Backcountry Ramblers Club to discover what’s in bloom and forage for on-trail mocktails. The trail leads to a large rock overhang and a cave, where the group can take a break to share stories before heading back to The Buckhorn.

Tortilla-Making Workshop & Tasting

Learn to make your own tortillas with Masienda in The Buckhorn Kitchen.

Multi-course dinner

A curated meal and drink pairing inspired by local flavors and flowers.

SUNDAY, MAY 4TH

Morning Bobcat Loop Hike*

This 3-hour, 2.3 mile loop is a medium-intensity hike. Join Sam and the goats of Backcountry Ramblers Club down to “the gulch,” where native vegetation grows lush and wildlife finds refuge. You’ll trek through the meadow flats to the “big rock” in the foothills, where you’ll forage for mocktails and enjoy the views before heading back to The Buckhorn.
