Vintners’ Festival

On April 20 – 23 the flavors of the Central Coast herald the arrival of spring as more than 100 Santa Barbara County wineries, restaurants, caterers and specialty food purveyors present the 2017 Santa Barbara Vintners New Release Spring Weekend. This is an opportunity to attend winemaker lunches and dinners, educational wine-focused seminars, winery and tasting room open houses, vineyard walks, and the Festival Grand Tasting at Riverview Park in Buellton. This year also launches a new part of the festivities called the “Big Bottle Bash” at K’Syrah in downtown Solvang where guests bring large format bottlings to share. Throughout the weekend, select wineries host their own events on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, ranging from winemaker dinners to library tastings to new wine releases to barrel tastings.
