Santa Maria Downtown Fridays

This family-friendly event for Santa Maria’s downtown will occur every Friday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Town Center West parking lot near Broadway (Highway 135) and Cook Street, all the way to September 27th, weather permitting. Admission and parking are free. There will be live music from local bands, rows of food vendors, local beer tastings, and new and expanded attractions.

New this year:

• More local entertainment, including Mayor Alice Patino honoring country singer, Orcutt native and “The Voice” alumnus Pryor Baird (on May 24th), Cen Cal Pro Wrestling Shows, Rocky Horror Tribute by Righetti High School, Spartatronics demonstration by Orcutt Academy, Allan Hancock College dancers, The Lock Boxx, and Marston Smith the Lord of the Cello!

• More lights added to the area

• Street renovations along Broadway

• More food booths
