Santa Maria BBQ Festival 2022

Witness a barbecue competition reminiscent of an Old West “quick draw” as barbecue professionals compete for the “Branding Iron” award while amateurs square off for the “Best Backyard Cook” at the fourth annual Santa Maria BBQ Festival event on May 14th at Pioneer Park from noon to 4 p.m. Sample the barbecue fare and vote for your favorite “cuers,” while you enjoy live music, games and a variety of beers from local brewery, Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company. This event benefits Santa Maria’s Kiwanis for Kids “Back to School Shopping” event.

For your enjoyment, the 4th Annual Santa Maria BBQ Festival will be held on Saturday May 14th. This event is a fundraising festival held at Pioneer Park located in Santa Maria, and benefits our local Kiwanis for Kids “Back to School Shopping” event. The event is for all ages and showcases our flavorful and unique Santa Maria Style BBQ. Children 10 and under receive free admission. The event starts at high noon and ends at 4 p.m. Make sure to get your tickets soon as past festivals have sold out!
