Oso Flaco Bird Walk

Late winter/early spring is a great time to observe birds at Oso Flaco.  Our winter migrants should still be here.  However, they will be brightening up to their breeding colors and many will be practicing their songs for when they reach their breeding grounds.  Also, early spring migrants will be arriving in their breeding colors and will be setting up territories and trying to attract mates with their beautiful songs.

Meet us at 8:00 a.m. at the Oso Flaco Lake parking lot.  Be ready to make the 3 mile, round trip hike.  Watch the weather and dress appropriately.  See you there!
