New Year’s Eve Wine Pairing: Chocolate Truffles + Bubbles
Begin your New Year’s Eve celebration early with a stop at Riverbench Winery in Santa Maria Valley. The winery is offering a flight of wines paired with Belgian chocolates by Jessica Foster of Jessica Foster Confections. Foster is known for her chocolates blended with exotic flavors such as chiles, tea, anise and other spices. While the plan is to pair these handcrafted truffles with sparkling wines, guests may also opt to choose another wine tasting flight, such as the winery’s Pinot Noir lineup.

Riverbench is excited to partner with Jessica Fosters Confections as we pair our sparkling wine tasting along with four decadent chocolate truffles.
For Jessica Foster, making chocolate truffles is an expressive epicurean art. With her diverse palate of Belgian chocolates, she blends exotic teas, herbs and spices, infusing her confections to create intriguing flavors like dark chocolate chile and milk chocolate star anise-thyme. Her inspiration surrounds her and by means of this decadent medium, she creates sumptuous chocolate pieces, sculpting each one lovingly by hand.
Pairing intended for our sparkling wine line up, but you may choose any tasting flight, including our current Pinot Noir line up.
Truffle pairing sold separately. Wine tastings at normal menu prices. Note that our tasting room closes at 2pm on New Year’s Eve and we’re closed on New Year’s Day.
