“Mozart Maximus”

Classical-era compositions will be in full swing at “Mozart Maximus” on February 25 at 7:30 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church (605 E. McCoy Ln.) in Santa Maria. Presented by the Santa Maria Philharmonic Society, the evening will offer a full orchestra led by Maestro Michael Nowak. The program includes Mozart’s stunning La Clemenza di Tito overture; Symphony No. 40 in G minor; and Violin Concerto No. 5 in A Major. In addition to his work with the Santa Maria Philharmonic, Mr. Nowak is currently the director of the newly formed Novo Orchestra in San Luis Obispo County, and is active as a recording musician and conductor in the motion picture industry.
