Movie Night at the Library on January 8th

The Santa Maria Public Library is pleased to show the movie Passengers (2016), which is rated PG-13. The film will be screened on Monday, January 8th at 5:00 p.m. in Shepard Hall. This event is free and no tickets are required.

A spacecraft traveling to a distant colony planet and transporting thousands of people has a malfunction in its sleep chambers. As a result, two passengers in induced hibernation, Jim Preston (Chris Pratt) and Aurora Lane (Jennifer Lawrence), are awakened 90 years early.

Seating is limited and is offered on a first come, first served basis. Freshly popped popcorn will also be served free of charge.

The Library’s hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Library is closed on Sunday. The Library is located at 421 S. McClelland Street.
