Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Center: Huell Howser Memorial Nature Walk at Oso Flaco Lake

Join the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Center along Oso Flaco Lake’s 2½ mile boardwalk to the Pacific Ocean and view first-hand the first blushes of spring as the native flora and fauna emerge from winter’s rest.

Join hike Docent, Ray Segovia on Saturday, February 11th at 9am to walk the same path Huell did when he visited the dunes 18 years ago. Ray will lead hikers through Oso Flaco Lake Natural Area out to the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes. Be sure to dress in layers and bring a water bottle. We also ask that you please bring close toe shoes so you may access parts of the beach where Huell visited.
