Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Center: Holiday Hike at Rancho Guadalupe Dunes

Just south of Guadalupe lies an extraordinary and unique nature preserve. Featuring towering 550 foot high dunes-the tallest on the west coast and the Santa Maria River Estuary, not only is this park beautiful but it is also ecologically significant. We will be offering a docent-led hike on January 1st at 9:00 a.m. Come out and enjoy a nice 4-mile round trip hike on the beach towards Mussel Rock with hike docent, Ray Segovia. Please register using the link below and meet Ray at the Rancho Guadalupe Beach parking lot at 9:00 a.m.

A $5 donation to the Dunes center is encouraged to help with our 2023-2024 Education Programs. Members attend our hikes free, and you can learn more here!
Please register for the hike.

Closed-toe shoes recommended.
No dogs allowed at the Preserve.
