Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Center Dunite Hike: History, Art, and Poetry
Join Dunite historians Diane Tortolano and James Papp as they take you to rarely accessible Dunite haunts and conjure up the counter-culture community that flourished in the Oceano Dunes between World Wars I and II. Local writers will perform poems and prose of the Dunites at stops along the way, with displays of Dunite art and images of the Dunites themselves.
Parking is free courtesy of California State Parks. We gratefully encourage a $5 suggested donation.
