DANA Adobe & Cultural Center Sunday Speaker: The Voyages of William Goodwin Dana
Departing in 1816 at the age of 19, William Dana Circumnavigated the globe. He conducted trade in China, Russia and Alaska, Alta California, South America, and Islands across the Pacific. In 1824 the King of Hawaii provided William with his own ship at, which time he became the Captain of the Waverly. Admission is $8 for adults, $3 for children, and free for DANA members.
The DANA Cultural Center is open daily from 11 am -3 pm. The Dana Adobe is open for tours from 11 am – 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
