Vino. Bites. Music. If you’re looking for a distinct wine experience, Ca’ Del Grevino is your “casa di fun.”

There are a few elements to Ca’ Del Grevino that you must know about.

The Vineyard

The vineyard is located just 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean in the Santa Maria Valley, and produces some of the finest wines in California. Ca’ Del Grevino, meaning “House of Grewal Family Wines,” is all about fine wines rooted in Italian tradition.

In order to achieve a high standard of quality, grapes that are properly grown, cropped, evenly ripened, handpicked and hand-sorted are used. The vineyards are sustainably farmed. Only French oak barrels are used in the winemaking process. The philosophy is that winemaking starts in the vineyard, and growing well-balanced grapes results in well-balanced wine.

The vineyard is planted methodically and meticulously, with special attention paid to varietals best suited to the estate’s terroir. Taking into account the soils, the meso- and micro-climates, the coastal influences and the orientation of the sun upon the hillsides – Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Grenache, Dolcetto, Riesling and Syrah are found here in their four labels: Ca’ Del Grevino Estate Vineyards, Grevino Estate Vineyards, Element and Red Carpet.

Tasting and touring at the Estate is by appointment only. Please email [email protected] or call 805.621.5889 to arrange a tasting. Visit the website for information on special events and concerts, too. It’s a fabulous venue to listen to live music when the weather is warm.
