Emma Phelps, a paleo climatologist, has seen first-hand the symptoms of our changing planet while studying ice core samples in Greenland. However, the recent loss of her husband has left Emma, herself, frozen in grief. When she is asked by an old friend to come to DC and testify in a Senate Committee regarding climate change, the overlap of science, politics, and the deeply personal, create a charged landscape that is all to relevant in our current political and literal climate. Takes place virtually on March 12th at 7:00 pm and March 13th at 1:30 pm.
City Of Santa Maria Recreation And Parks: St. Patrick’s Scavenger Hunt
Join the City Of Santa Maria Recreation And Parks Department on SUNDAY, March 14th for a St. Patrick’s Scavenger Hunt! This takes place from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Preisker park, and then again from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Pioneer Park.

Riverbench: Virtual Wine Tasting – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & Sparkling Wine
Join Riverbench’s Director of Hospitality, Danae Smith, on Wednesday. March 17th from 2:30 pm – 2:45 pm for a live tasting of their February 2021 wine club allocation. Danae will lead participants through a 15-minute tasting of the following wines, which were recently released to their club members: 2019 Reserve Chardonnay, 2017 One Palm Pinot Noir, 2018 Blanc de Blancs Sparkling Wine. Streaming live from the vineyard tasting room, she’ll touch on tasting notes and food pairing ideas for each wine, then answer your questions during and following the broadcast.
