Join us for a tour through our night sky! Enjoy amazing views of star clusters, planets and more through telescopes provided by one or all Central Coast Astronomy Society, Vandenberg Amateur Astronomy Society, Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit and Juno our resident telescope. Feel free to bring your own telescope. Follow event parking signs. Gate will be open for parking at 7:30.

1st Annual Star Party: Meet Ricky Hart from UCLA Space Physics for wine, snacks, and stargazing. Jupiter, Saturn, and, of course Mars, should all be visible. As an extra perk, The Perseid Meteor Shower will be peaking as well! Michelle will also have on hand, meteorite samples and a piece of the moon.

Santa Barbara County has been nominated in USA Today’s latest 10Best Readers’ Choice travel award contest. Their expert panel selected Santa Barbara County as a contender for Best Wine Region, which just launched. The contest, which is being promoted by USA TODAY, gives voters four weeks to vote for the candidate of their choice.
