This magical musical brings everyone’s favorite storybook characters together for a fractured fairytale like you’ve never seen. When the Baker and his wife learn that a Witch’s curse has left them childless, the two set off on a journey into the woods to break the spell. There, paths cross and stories interweave including, Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival, Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk, and even a big bad wolf. Wishes are granted, but the consequences follow closely behind.

The Santa Maria Valley Strawberry Festival kicks off the valley’s Strawberry Season, supports our local agriculture and encourages the healthy indulgence of strawberries, all in a fun filled, three day weekend community event. With your paid admission enjoy a variety of FREE attractions. Naturally, we also feature FREE* strawberry tasting and desert eating contests. Come see all the awesome sights and sounds of the Festival. The Strawberry Festival also features a traditional carnival, including a full kiddie carnival, and commercial displays, along with a fun variety of things to do, and see.

Downtown Fridays are Back! This family-friendly event for Santa Maria’s downtown will occur every Friday beginning on May 28th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Town Center West parking lot near Broadway (Highway 135) and Cook Street, all the way to October 29th, weather permitting. Admission and parking are free. There will be live music from local bands, kids’ activities, rows of food vendors and food trucks, and new and expanded attractions.

Passion and power of the 2021-2022 season concludes in dramatic fashion with music by Mozart, Copland, and Brahms. One of Copland’s most popular pieces, A Lincoln Portrait was commissioned during the beginning of World War II for a program of three new works by American composers. It is a one-movement work with narration made up of quotations which Copland collected from the speeches and letters of President Abraham Lincoln
