PCPA Presents: Freaky Friday

November 9 – December 23
Pacific Conservatory Theatre

The Pacific Conservatory Theatre (PCT) presents “Freaky Friday,” a new Disney musical and modern fairytale based on long-loved Disney films and the famed novel by Mary Rodgers. The story follows an overworked mother and teenage daughter who magically swap bodies for a day, then hope to put things right before mom’s upcoming wedding. Shows take place in the Marian Theatre at Allan Hancock College and plays now through December 23. PCPA is the only professional resident company on the Central Coast and stages the finest classic and contemporary live theater plays.

Kerry Irish Productions Presents: An Irish Christmas

An Irish Christmas, features an award-winning cast of Irish dancers led by World Champion Dancers Scott Doherty (Riverdance, Lord of the Dance, Rockin’ Road to Dublin) Tyler Schwartz (Magic of the Dance, Gaelforce Dance, Celtic Fyre) and Connor Reider (Chieftains, Celtic Fyre) in a memorable night that sparkles with the charm and magic that only this festive time of year can bring.

Star Gazing Party

December 16, 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Los Flores Ranch

Dec. 16th is our last Star Gazing Party of the year! Enjoy amazing views of star clusters, planets and more through telescopes provided by one or all Central Coast Astronomy Society, Vandenberg Amateur Astronomy Society, Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit and Juno our resident telescope. Follow event parking signs. Gate will be open for parking at 5:30 and Hot Chocolate and Candy Canes. We recommend you bring a chair and dress warm.
Be prepared to walk off trail.
No flashlights
No dogs, please!

Teen Gingerbread House Experience

December 22, 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Santa Maria Public Library
421 S. McClelland St., Santa Maria

Teenagers are invited to flex their creative muscles with gingerbread this holiday season!

That’s right, on Friday, December 22 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., teens are invited to build a gingerbread house at the Santa Maria Public Library.

All materials are provided at this free event. The sweet structures will remain on display for one week to allow time for the public to vote for its favorite creations. However, seating is limited for this free program. Registration begins on December 13.
