The Santa Maria Valley is set amongst northern perimeter of Santa Barbara County on California’s Central Coast, which is currently recognized as one of the world’s most dynamic wine-growing regions. The valley is home to a rare “transverse” geography—an east-west orientation that channels cool ocean air directly into the valley. The result is one of California’s longest growing seasons, which allows us to produce grapes that are a little more complex, a little more balanced, and a whole lot more flavorful. Because, in Santa Maria Valley, we believe everything is better when it’s allowed to take its sweet time.
