Santa Maria Open Streets Calles Vivas

Open Streets events promote community wellness by creating a safe, temporary, car-free space on roads, opening them up as a public park for a day. Designated streets come alive with adults and children engaging in fitness, art, music, dance and around 15 cultural activities.

The event will have some of the same popular activities offered at previous Open Streets events and some great new activities yet to be experienced. With a diverse mix of recreation, retail and residential neighborhoods, Santa Maria is an ideal community to host an Open Streets event. Main Street from Broadway to Blosser will become a public park for the day and transform into a celebration of people-power to promote better health, flexibility and FUN!
