Riverbench Easter Egg Hunt

Vineyard views and a restored 1920s Craftsman-style house compose the setting for Santa Maria Valley’s egg hunt extravaganza taking place at Riverbench Vineyard & Winery on March 31 at 11 a.m. Children ages seven and younger are invited to hunt for eggs at 11 a.m., and all ages are invited to join in the second hunt at 2 p.m. The plastic eggs will be filled with candy as well as some “special” prizes for parents, too, such as coupons for Riverbench swag. Live music will be offered by Natalie Haskins, and don’t forget to grab some lunch via the Cubanissimo food truck, and, of course, a glass of your favorite Riverbench wine. Advance tickets are required as this event always sells out.

Event Details:

Our Easter Egg Hunt has become very popular since we started hosting the annual event in 2008.

Over 2,000 eggs are hidden in the garden surrounding our vineyard tasting room in the Santa Maria Valley. The eggs are filled with candy for the kids and some special prizes for their parents, including Riverbench hats, shirts and hoodies.

Bring your little ones and take in the festivities while sipping on your favorite Riverbench wines, listening to music by Natalie Haskins and enjoying picnic lunch from local food truck, Cubanissimo.

At 11 AM, children 7 and under will be allowed to hunt for eggs. Sorry, no older kids at this one!

At 2 PM, all ages are welcome! We look forward to sharing a special day with all of you.

Tips for a great day:

Secure your tickets early – this event always sells out and we limit attendance to make it fun for everyone

While not required, why not dress the kids up for great photo ops (local news usually covers the event)

Bring a blanket for a wine country picnic on the lawn. Don’t forget a basket for collecting eggs.
