Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Center: National Wildlife Refuge Hike to Lunar Craters
Join the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Center on a 4 – 5 mile hike in to the back dunes of the wildlife refuge to Lunar Craters, a large active sand sheet characterized by 50′-60′ deep slip faces and sand craters. This hike will involve difficult physical exertion over soft sand and steep ridges.
The meeting location will take place before the entrance gate to Oso Flaco Lake, on the left hand side.
