Dunite Walk- The Mystic Connection

Join Dunes Center community hike leader, Diane McDermott on a walk to the dunes at Oso Flaco Lake to see the typical Dunite habitat as it was, though no trace remains. The Dunites were bohemians living in the dunes in the 1930s and 40s. You will hear some stories and learn how mysticism was a part of the experience. Meet at the parking lot (hikers are exempt from $5 parking fee) at the end of Oso Flaco Lake Rd. Take a right turn from Highway 1, about 10 miles south of Pismo.
