Bull Canyon Run 2017
The Bull Canyon Run is a Law Enforcement Torch Run sponsored event. LETR is a world-wide organization that raises money and awareness for Special Olympics. This event is open to the public and is a fund raiser for Special Olympics. Money is raised through entry fees and sponsorships.
The 10K Run/Walk starts at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K Run/Walk starts at 8 a.m. This year, we will have a kid’s 1/2K Run (ages 1-5) at 9:30 a.m. and the Kid’s 1K Run (ages 6-9) at 9:40 a.m.
We have t-shirts for everyone and medals are awarded in age category (gold, silver, bronze) and participation medals for 4th place and higher. The top finisher in each age group for the runs will receive a plaque. Plaques are not awarded in the walker category.
We encourage registration via active.com, but will accept paper applications up to Tuesday, May 16th. Special Olympians do not pay to participate in the Bull Canyon Run. They will need to contact the Special Olympic office in Santa Maria to register. If you have any questions, please contact the race director via the Bull Canyon Run website www.bcrun.org.
