31st Annual Santa Maria Valley Strawberry Festival
The Santa Maria Valley’s uniquely moderate coastal climate is a perfect match for many crops, the most colorful of which are strawberries. This spring, the popular fruit finds its ultimate showcase from April 27 through April 29 during the Santa Maria Valley Strawberry Festival at the Santa Maria Fairpark. This family-friendly berry bash features strawberry varietal sampling, strawberry desserts, educational exhibits, a farmers market, a petting zoo, eating contests, live music and old-fashioned carnival entertainment. This year’s festival theme is “A Berry Good Time.”
The 31st Annual Santa Maria Valley Strawberry Festival runs April 27-29, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Each day the festival will open at 11 A.M. and close at 10 P.M. The carnival may stay open as late as midnight.
