Downtown Fridays From 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Downtown Fridays is the place to be for families and people of all ages. The weekly event features a certified farmer’s market, live music, food booths, food trucks, arts and crafts, kids’ activities, novelty items, and a beer and wine tent. Blosser Urban Garden Blosser Urban Garden (BUG) is a sustainable, small-scale organic farm in an urban setting committed to providing sustainable agriculture to the Central Coast. Open Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m until 2 p.m. Orcutt Certified Farmers Market Open Tuesdays from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., the Orcutt Certified Farmers Market offers produce including vegetables, citrus and strawberries, local honey, farm fresh eggs, baked goods, jams, and jellies. Darrensberries Located off Highway 101 at E. Betteravia Rd. behind Pappy’s restaurant, Darensberries are available from February through October. Growing Grounds Farm Santa Maria Growing Grounds Farm Santa Maria is a program of Transitions-Mental Health Association, and produce pesticide-free produce, flower and plants. Visit them at 820 W. Foster Rd. at the corner of Foster and California, next to the Sheriff station. Open Thursdays from 12 Noon to Dusk. Grocers Spencer’s Fresh Markets is sells fresh, locally grown produce in its stores along the Central Coast.
