Santa Maria Style Barbecue isn’t the only epicurean delight here in the Santa Maria Valley.
Indeed, famous strawberries, fresh produce and fine wine are also grown here, and word continues to spread about all that our region has to offer when it comes to world-class flavors.
Most recently, the Santa Maria Valley was in the spotlight when the 2015 Tepusquet Vineyard Viognier by Cambria Estate Vineyard & Winery was featured on the NBC TODAY SHOW last week in a segment titled “Raise A Glass – A Toast to Valentine’s Day.”
TODAY SHOW hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford, together with Food & Wine Magazine Executive Editor Ray Isle, shared their wine recommendations for Valentine’s Day. Their Cambria selection was described as “rich like a Chardonnay, yet spicy with peach characteristics.” It’s yet the latest indication that Santa Maria Valley wines are making a bigger and bigger noise.
