Featuring beautiful architecture and a deep history, the Mission Santa Ines serves as a museum and a parish church of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. The museum, church and garden are open for daily tours that begin in the Mission gift shop and self-guided tours are available most days for just $5.00, with scheduled docent-led tours available for $6.00.
Fisherman’s Beach is the final beach you approach and you leave Avila Beach. The beach gets its name from the nearby Fishermen’s Memorial, which pays tribute to those lost at sea. Fisherman’s Beach is sometimes called Dog Beach, because dogs are allowed to roam and play off leashes, as long as they’re well-behaved.
